Networking Positions: For individuals who have an enthusiasm for technology and want hands-on technical positions

Network Administrator / Engineer Position
Certifications: Microsoft MCSA, MCSE and CompTIA Network +

In this key role, duties may include:

  • Providing high level technical support to internal and external customers
  • Purchasing, installing, and upgrading equipment/software
  • Desktop support
  • Management, ownership and monitoring of all servers and space utilization
  • Development and maintenance of all technical procedures and processes
  • Input into cost reduction opportunities through technical solutions and strategies
  • Co-ordinate and manage all infrastructure changes and projects
  • Supervises all activities associated with network activities
  • Troubleshooting and problem management

Cisco Networking Positions
Certifications: Cisco CCNA/CCDA and CCNP

Duties may include:

  • On-site network support services
  • Planning, implementing and providing advice on infrastructure configurations and migrations
  • Evaluating complex network requirements and resolving LAN- and WAN- and Internet-related connectivity issues; suggesting improvements to client network infrastructures
  • Plan and configure security models for network access and other network resources

UNIX Sun Solaris Administrator
Certifications: Sun Solaris

Duties may include:

  • Overseeing, repairing, maintaining and diagnosing Sun systems
  • Working with other groups and business units to architect, recommend, purchase, and build new system solutions needed for various types of application architectures

Wireless Network Professional
Certifications: CWNP

Duties may include:

  • Planning, process development and deployment in a wireless enterprise environment.
  • Troubleshooting and managing a wireless network infrastructure
    Experience in routing protocols
  • Project management experience or experience with Microsoft Project a plus.
    Wireless Data/System Security knowledge, Network Operation and Configuration Management, Network

LINUX System Administrator
Certification: Linux +

Duties may include:

  • Being able to install and configure necessary Linux features on new systems installations
  • Troubleshooting
  • Must also be proficient in Hardware issues, and have solid PC/LAN skills
  • Performing back-up and recovery on mid-sized to large Linux OS.

Duties may include:

  • Independently guiding end users through troubleshooting procedures over the phone

Programming Positions: For individuals desiring a career in programming
Sun Certified JAVA Programmer-Internet Application Developer
Certifications: SUN JAVA 2 Programmer

Duties may include:

  • Application design/analysis, developing project plans, coding, testing, documenting all code
  • Maintaining and upgrading existing applications.
  • Interfacing with the customer to assist in the implementation of work requests
  • Developing web enabled applications across multiple platforms

Microsoft.NET Microsoft Certified Application Developer-Programmer
Certification: Microsoft Certified Application Developer MCAD

Duties may include:

  • Being responsible for programming and development of a company’s applications used by both internal staff and customers.
  • Being comfortable working with state-of-the-art technologies and adapt well to changes in the technology
  • Coding within their respective knowledge areas with an understanding of best practices and structured methodologies.

Oracle Forms Developer-Programmer
Certifications: Oracle Certified Associate, Oracle Certified Professional

Duties may include:

Communicating with end users, defining requirements, managing tasks and developer resources

  • Developing applications in Oracle
  • Writing queries to existing databases
  • Developing, testing and implementing reports
  • Migrations between development, QA and Production, problem reporting and resolution

Oracle Database Administrator
Certifications: Oracle Certified Database Associate and Professional

Duties may include:

  • Providing support for mission critical systems.
  • Provide lead in maintenance and support for all company databases, including Oracle
  • Assume technical lead in projects relating to new database products.
